Paintings on
The Leaves of Peepal Tree
You must have seen (or heard about) many paintings made on various media viz, paper, canvas, cloth etc.
But have you heard of any paintings made on dry leaves of peepal tree ?
These leaves develop and show a fine mesh of nerves after getting dry.
At that stage, those become very delicate to handle. Those can turn into pieces even by a minute shock or slight mishandling.
However, that has inspired a young artist to treat such leaves as a medium for making his paintings. He accepted this challenge and proudly succeeded in it.
He has painted images of Lord Ganesh on such leaves.
